Ehh...

Wouldn't hear brass in the jungle. I heard lots of wood and tom sounds so that was fun stuff...

I like the general idea of this but it doesn't go anywhere... you should probably spend about 20x more time on your music than you said you did, and then it'll really be unique and more awesome!

Alright, go back and read my new commentary if you wish to know the reason it is scored the way it is. Thanks for the review

It's alright...

Do you know how to use the slide tool?
The thing that makes Benny's music so filthy and so good?

In the piano roll, in the upper left.

This sounds a bit like Change Style.

DaftPunkAAO responds:

Thanks! I'll take a look for that tool ;P

phew

Hm, the bass definitely doesn't fit the mood. The strings would have fit if you had written for broader chords (maybe some higher up notes thrown in there) - cause then it's like Bob Sinclar or something, string samples.

I loved the rhythm - except for the claps, which felt awkward. Possibly a lowpass.

got it master :) im probably not gonna come back to this [at least, for a while] so ill think of this stuff later.

Failure.

This tries to be acid, but doesn't get anywhere close. Throwing down random notes and using 303-esque sounds doesn't make it automatically good nor creative. And, watch out for the clipping next time, it was hurting my ears.

The one thing I liked was the clean, solid kick, but I highly doubt you made it yourself. In any case, please feel free to respond with whatever you'd like; you used a preset FL snare, after all.

Fuck you, you peace of shit. I am nearly a fucking amature pro. Fuck no i didnt use a fl present snare and yes i made the kick you fag. I used a Parametric Equalizer and a compressor. And for the CLAP....(not a snare) i added reverb and a Parametric Equalizer to. And changed the pitch. Also chop notes. so ha! And you dipshit, i programed the frequency to make the 30 ish sound, sound like that. So you tell me who isnt creative. And also, no there not ramdom sounds, you have to pay close attention you fuck. So i have skill. Good day.

Good as a hardcore tune,

but this really isn't house. at all. 8/10 anyways.

I like this alot, except for your clap. Your production techniques are spot on. Only real criticism I have to offer is the overuse of snare rolls/cymbal... otherwise keep up the good work.

Hit me up! Maybe we can work together or something... I like your style.

Equation responds:

thanks, i think i did over use the snare a bit... I liked the build up in this song tho... I wasn't too sure about the clap, with me hearing this song over and over again i got amune to it lol... thanks for the review :)

PERFECT!

except for two things:

- mid-high frequencies on your stringy anthem lead hurt my ears a little
- a little reverb on your open hihat :)

Awesome. 5'd

Hm...

Bad news:
~ kick is a tiny bit too trebly... just take off the really high frequencies
~ bass needs lowpass, just because the brooding feeling is not achieved, but not trying to generalize
~ what's up with your clap, how did you make that song

Good news:
~ fun progression, was enjoyable to listen to
~ nice break/buildup
~ nice bass switch at around 3:00
~ great ending.

PERVOK responds:

Fuck this is an old song.

Nothing special here...

except for the rhodes...

Good production techniques.

Try to develop your bass synth beyond a basic soundwave with eq.

Less sytrus...

More 3xosc.

I'll show you how to make every synth you could possibly need with 3xosc and make it sound good too. I'll also help you make genuinely original percussion sounds. PM/im me.
